If you have an LLC or a Corporation (Or PLLC or PC), you may need to file a new report with the Federal government about the “beneficial owners” here. Failure to do this can result in civil fines of $500 per day if it is late. I’m not an expert on this, but don’t want any of us to fall victim to this. Assuming your entity existed in 2023, you have a year to file this, but no reason to wait. If it is created in 2024 you appear to have 90 days to file. In 2025 the current regulations say you have 30 days, but that is subject to change.

There are exemptions for companies with 21 or more full-time employees and making at least $5,000,000 in annual revenue. Certain types of companies (such as insurance companies, banks, and accounting firms) are also exempt, as are most (and maybe all) non-profits.
